Bowl season is upon us, and among those partaking will be the Alabama Crimson Tide as they face off with the Kansas State Wildcats in the Sugar Bowl on Dec. 31.

“It’s become increasingly tough for these guys to make a decision on these games,” Wilson said in his most recent appearance on “McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning.” “I think it’s tough, because you’re trying to do what’s best for you and yourself and your family and everything and your future career moving forward. But at the same time, you want to play football with the guys that you sit here and spent 3 or 4 years trying to build something together with.”

Wilson said he sees quarterback Bryce Young and linebacker Will Anderson as the two players who have the biggest decision to make as to whether to sit out or to play in the upcoming bowl game, and that he supports either side of it.

With both players set for a bright NFL future, it would not be surprising to see both opt out to prevent any chance of injury.
