Jordan Castell, 4-star 2023 safety, announces SEC commitment

Jordan Castell is staying close to home. The 4-star safety from Winter Garden, Florida announced his commitment Saturday to play for Billy Napier’s program.
Castell pledged to Florida live on the Coach Hayes Football YouTube channel.

Castell is listed at 6-2, 195 pounds. He is rated the No. 13 safety, No. 41 Sunshine State recruit and No. 202 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite.
During his recruitment, Castell picked up 34 scholarship offers. He named Florida, Alabama and Tennessee as his 3 finalists heading into Saturday’s announcement. Castell took an official visit to UF in June.

Castell is Florida’s third Composite 4-star commitment in as many days, following pledges from wide receiver Aidan Mizell and cornerback Ja’Keem Jackson.
