Jorden Edmonds has found his college home.

The elite cornerback from Marietta, Georgia, announced his commitment to play for Kalen DeBoer at Alabama on Wednesday.

“Just a feeling I can’t get or haven’t had anywhere else. Really made it feel like home,” Edmonds said of his decision to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

Out of Sprayberry High School, Edmonds is listed as measuring over 6-2 and 175 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Edmonds is rated 5-stars, the No. 1 cornerback, No. 4 player in the state of Georgia and No. 27 prospect overall in the Class of 2026.

As an elite talent in the Peach State, Edmonds attracted widespread interest, particularly among SEC teams. Edmonds has picked up scholarship offers from 43 programs, drawing interest from Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Mizzou, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Texas, Texas A&M and others.

He chose Alabama over Georgia, Oklahoma and Tennessee for Wednesday’s commitment.

With Edmonds on board, Alabama now has 4 verbal commitments in its 2026 recruiting class. Crimson Tide fans can get a preview of what Edmonds brings to Tuscaloosa by watching highlights from his junior season in the video below, via Hudl:
