Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel has strong indications that football will outscore Tennessee baseball this season.
On ESPN’s “Always College Football” show with Greg McElroy this week, Heupel discussed more of Tennessee’s goals for the upcoming season, changes in the program, and well, if the Vols football team can reel in more stamina to score more points than the 608 runs Vol baseball did last season.
McElroy casually asked Heupel during the end of the show, “Who is going to score more this year, Tennessee baseball or Tennessee football?” and hear for yourself what Heupel says about it.
Going to be tough to top @Vol_Baseball’s 608 runs in points this year, but @coachjoshheupel thinks @Vol_Football will do just that ?

Trying to top a wild 608 runs from the Vols baseball squad last season is one of the key aspects that Heupel is looking ahead to come September.
Only time will tell if this outlandish question can become reality. Stay tuned to see if Vols football can achieve scoring more points than baseball can in runs.
