Josh Jacobs’ journey is one worth sharing.

The outstanding NFL rookie running back out of Alabama may have been one of the last players taken by the Crimson Tide in the 2016 recruiting cycle but he developed into one of the key players for Nick Saban’s offense in recent seasons, showcasing his incredible ability to make plays out of the backfield and on special teams.

Following three seasons in Tuscaloosa, Jacobs went on to be drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. His impact was instant at the NFL level, as Jacobs had over 1,300 yards of total offense and seven touchdowns last season for the Raiders.

Considering his journey began during a difficult time, often living out of his father’s car in Tulsa, there are few NFL players that can say they’ve overcome more than Jacobs.

If you missed the commercial starring Jacobs during the game, you can check that out here:

Following the release of the Super Bowl commercial, Kia released this 6-minute documentary on Jacobs featuring his father and those that helped the young Tulsa native along his journey to NFL stardom.
