There are a lot of talented wide receivers at this weekend’s NFL Combine looking to make a name for themselves in front of potential future employers.
Former Tennessee receiver Josh Malone is one player who may have helped his draft stock with a blistering time in the 40-yard dash.

In the marquee event, Malone covered the 40 yards in an eye-popping 4.41 seconds. While that time is still unofficial, it was tied for third-best among the receivers who ran on Saturday.
Malone’s performance coupled with his on-field production should help him rise on many draft boards. In his final season with the Vols, Malone caught 50 passes for 972 yards and 11 touchdowns.
