There’s still something odd about seeing Tom Brady in a Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform, and the same thing could be said about wide receiver Julio Jones, considering that both of these players had such successful careers with other teams before making their way to Tampa.

The former Alabama wideout caught his first pass from Brady this week during training camp — and it was a nice one.

The Bucs project as a team that has a very real chance of making a Super Bowl run this season, something that isn’t surprising considering that they’ve already done it recently with Brady at the helm. Jones should play a significant role in helping the offense churn as well, something he’s done in years before despite an overall lack of production for the past two seasons.

Jones caught 31 passes for 434 yards and 1 touchdown in 2021. His last season with over 1,000 receiving yards was back in 2019, when he caught 99 passes for 1,394 yards with 6 touchdowns with the Atlanta Falcons.
