Justice Haynes delivers punishing hit en route to old-school TD run

Justice Haynes is a bruising physical running back that complements the explosiveness of the Alabama offense in a perfect way.

During the Crimson Tide’s game against Missouri, Haynes scored a rushing touchdown that would have running backs from the 1990’s excited.

Haynes is having one of the best games of the season for the Crimson Tide, as he has 79 yards to go along with the score. In the season opener against Western Kentucky, he rushed the ball 8 times for 102 yards and 1 touchdown — his previous season-best mark.

It has been a long week for Alabama, as fans have been very disappointed as the team has lost 2 of its last 3 games. However, at least for Saturday, Alabama has looked like a team that can compete for the national title. The defense has been dominant,  holding Missouri to only 72 passing yards.

Getting the win is big, as the Crimson Tide have another huge game looming in 2 weeks. Alabama is off next weekend, and then hits the road for another huge rivalry game as they take on Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers.

The Tigers have a big game tonight, as they take on Texas A&M in a game with big SEC title implications.
