Georgia senior wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley will be missed this season.

The pass catcher told his high school coach his career is over after his third knee injury in the last two years, according to the Athens Banner-Herald. He injured his knee Aug. 17 in practice.

Scott-Wesley wrote on his Instagram account Monday night, “When one door closes, another opens! That’s how God works! Blessed for the opportunity to learn and teach! #CoachMeCoach”

It’s unfortunate to see anyone’s career end this way, especially one who figured to be a major part of the Bulldogs’ offense.

Scott-Wesley tore his ACL in 2013, battled an ankle injury in 2014 and had surgery to repair a torn meniscus suffered this summer.
