How well is Mike Leach’s debut at Mississippi State going?

As Larry David would say, pretty, pretty, pretty good.

K.J. Costello certainly living up to the hype as the transfer quarterback has more passing yards in this game than any other SEC passer has ever had in an SEC game.

Costello currently has 623 passing yards against LSU.

Yes, you read that correctly.

The previous record for passing yards by an SEC QB in a single game was Georgia’s Eric Zeier in 1993 vs. Southern Miss, who passed for 544 yards in that game.
