Kalel Mullings could do nothing but shake his head after a triumphant Michigan victory turned sour inside Buckeye Stadium on Saturday.

Following a 13-10 Michigan win over No. 2 Ohio State, a massive fight broke out at midfield between both teams. According to the broadcast, Michigan players attempted to plant a U-M flag at midfield — similar to what Baker Mayfield did with Oklahoma years ago — and Ohio State players took exception.

After the players were separated and sent to their respective locker rooms, Mullings met with the FOX broadcast crew for a typical postgame interview.

“For such a great game, you hate to see stuff like that after the game,” Mullings said. “It’s just bad for the sport, bad for college football but at the end of the day, they gotta learn how to lose, man. You can’t be fighting and stuff just because you lost a game.

“We’ve got 60 minutes (and) 4 quarters to do all that fighting and now people want to talk and fight? That’s wrong. It’s just bad for the game. Classless, in my opinion. People gotta be better.”

Mullings ran for 116 yards and a touchdown. His third-down run late in the game set up the game-winning field goal attempt.

Michigan captured its fourth consecutive win over Ohio State with the victory.
