Kenneth Lofton Jr. entered his name into the 2022 NBA Draft and plans to turn pro. But, the former Louisiana Tech star maintained his college eligibility and entered the transfer portal, too.

Should he decide to return to college, though, he’ll have his choice of a number of top programs that want him to join their squads.

Per college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, 5 SEC teams — Kentucky, Auburn, LSU, Texas A&M and Ole Miss — have shown interest in Lofton:

Those 5 SEC schools will compete with Houston, Texas, Tulsa, Memphis, USC, UC Santa Barbara, Kansas State, Gonzaga and Louisiana Tech for Lofton’s services if he withdraws from the draft.

Lofton appeared in 33 games for Louisiana Tech last season, starting all of them. He averaged 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
