On Tuesday, University of Kentucky Athletics is partnering with WLEX-TV to host the “Kentucky United for Tornado Relief” telethon. The event will be held from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. ET, and it will raise money for victims of the tornadoes that hit Western Kentucky over the weekend.

Proceeds from the telethon will be going to the American Red Cross. The phone number that will be active during the event is 833-510-0030, and donations can also be made online.

Wildcats men’s basketball head coach John Calipari took to Twitter on Monday to help get the word out about the event:

The telethon will be hosted by WLEX personnel in the recruiting room at Kroger Field, and there will be live spots mixed in with regular programming beginning at 4 p.m. ET. It will be fully aired for the final hour of the telethon, starting at 7 p.m. ET.

Kentucky coaches and athletes are scheduled to be guests during the event.
