Kentucky fans sound off on John Calipari after another early NCAA Tournament exit

Kentucky fans are not happy with head coach John Calipari following the Wildcats’ loss to K-State in the round of 32 on Sunday.

Kentucky was a betting favorite over Kansas State, but was unable to close out the game late. Led by Markquis Nowell, the Wildcats made some clutch shots late in the 2nd half to seal the 75-69 win.

This loss is another in a long line of tournament disappointments for Kentucky. Calipari’s teams have just 1 NCAA Tournament victory in the past 4 years. That win came against Providence on Friday.

This is also the 2nd time Kentucky has lost to Kansas State in the NCAA Tournament in recent years. UK fell to K-State in the Sweet 16 back in 2018.

Over the past 3 postseasons, Kentucky is just 2-5 in the SEC Tournament and NCAA Tournament.
