Kentucky flips pair of highly touted in-state 2024 prospects from B1G program
Kentucky football pulled off a win on Friday night, and they didn’t even play a game. The Wildcats scored a victory by getting a pair of in-state twins to decommit from Michigan.
Jerod Smith and Jacob Smith, two defensive line prospects from Corbin, Kentucky, announced their commitment to Kentucky on Friday night.

The heist by Kentucky moves the Wildcats up to the No. 28 class in the nation for 2024, per 247Sports Composite ranking. Jerod Smith is now the highest-rated commit for the Wildcats in 2024, while Jacob is the third-highest-rated.
