The Wildcats look to be having an excellent Father’s Day as 2018 Georgia quarterback prospect Jarren Williams has given his verbal commitment to Kentucky.
The 6-foot-3, 201-pound Lawrenceville, Ga., native announced the news via Twitter Sunday night:
Officially committed to the University of Kentucky ~ #BBN Glad to be apart of the Wildcat Family #gocats ?⚪️ pic.twitter.com/bmDhoG8B9s

After only completing two years of high school football, Williams has already been able to accumulate an impressive offer sheet as Florida State, Louisville, Houston, West Virginia, Colorado and Boston College are among the schools to offer him a scholarship.
New Kentucky QB commit @Jarren2Williams just told me he's 100-percent solid to UK.

Check out Williams’ highlight film from his sophomore season, he looks to have more than enough arm talent to succeed in the throw-heavy offense Mark Stoops prefers to run in Lexington:
Th addition of Williams certainly helps Kentucky get over losing 2017 quarterback prospect Mac Jones, who recently flipped his commitment to Alabama. When you consider starting quarterback Drew Barker will only be a redshirt sophomore entering the 2016 season, UK may likely never skip a beat from the Jones decommitment if Williams enrolls in Lexington and eventually replaces Barker under center.
