Kentucky had a big 2018 season, and the program certainly excelled in the national spotlight.

On Wednesday, Kentucky picked up an important commitment from 3-star CB MJ Devonshire (Aliquippa, Pa.). The talented defender will sign with Kentucky over Pittsburgh and West Virginia, among others. WVU made a huge push for his commitment leading into National Signing Day, but Kentucky eventually won out.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect is ranked as the nation’s No. 49 overall CB and the state’s No. 9 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Following Devonshire’s commitment, Kentucky now has 22 commitments or signees for the class of 2019.
