Kentucky lands second defensive back commitment in as many days

Kentucky picked up a commitment from 3-star defensive back Jamari Brown on Thursday.
Brown is listed on 247 Sports as a 6-foot-3, 180-pound prospect out of Pompano Beach, Fla., where he plays at Blanche Ely High School. He is rated as the No. 74 corner in the country.
With several SEC offers including ones from Auburn, Mississippi State and South Carolina, as well as top schools such as Louisville and Oregon, Brown decided to go with the Wildcats. He announced the decision on Twitter.

Brown is the third defensive back to commit to Kentucky this offseason. On Wednesday, 4-star corner Stanley Garner committed to the ‘Cats.
Kentucky has the No. 16 overall class (No. 5 in the SEC), according to 247 Sports’ Team Composite Rankings.
