Wimsatt was a 13-game starter for Rutgers in 2023, leading the Scarlet Knights to a 7-6 record. He was 138-of-289 passing for 1,735 yards, 9 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. He also rushed 131 times for Rutgers QB records of 497 yards and 11 scores.
