Kentucky RB Benny Snell, Jr. speaks up about his ejection from Music City Bowl

Kentucky fans were irate on Friday when Wildcats running back Benny Snell, Jr. was ejected from the Music City Bowl for a laughable “shove” of an official.
One of the refs tried to help Snell up after a play and the sophomore RB declined the assistance by pushing the official’s arms away. He did so in a non-aggressive way, and it didn’t look like a big deal on television.
However, officials deemed the move worthy of an ejection.
Kentucky went on to lose 24-23 after attempting a 2-point conversion for the win in the game’s final seconds.

Snell spoke up in the form of a tweet after the loss:
My passion for this game is out the roof , I don’t need help getting up. I can do that on my own. #snellyeah

Did Snell deserve to be ejected?
It’s a question that Kentucky fans will almost unanimously respond to with a “no.”
Would the game’s outcome have been different if Snell were able to play in the second half?
Maybe.
Update: Snell also met with the media as seen in the video below.
