It wasn’t Kentucky’s day against Louisville on Saturday afternoon, but the Wildcats still got an incredible performance out of sophomore RB Benny Snell Jr.
Late in the fourth quarter, Snell already had 211 rushing yards and two touchdowns, providing pretty much the only offense for the Wildcats against the Cardinals.
With his two scores, Snell now has 18 for the season, which is a new single-season record for Kentucky:

It was the seventh time Snell has gone over 100 yards in a game this season and also the sixth time he’s scored more than one touchdown in a game.
As a true sophomore, Snell will be back in 2018 and will be one of the SEC’s best running backs. As things stand at this second, Snell leads the conference in rushing yards and will have a chance to add to that total in Kentucky’s bowl game.
Whoever draws the Wildcats will need to do a better job against Snell to keep the Wildcats’ offense at bay.
