Kentucky RB Stanley ‘Boom’ Williams leaves game with neck spasms, return uncertain
Kentucky’s football season somehow keeps getting worse.
The Wildcats watched their second offensive starter go down against New Mexico State when running back Stanley “Boom” Williams left the game with neck spasms in the second quarter. This came after quarterback Drew Barker got carted off with a leg injury earlier in the game.

The junior exited the game after ripping off a 63-yard rushing touchdown, and it’s unclear if he’ll return.

Kentucky (0-2), desperate for a win after its rocky start to the season, is currently tied 21-21 with the Aggies in the second quarter.
