Following yet another loss to Florida, Kentucky athletics director Mitch Barnhart took to Twitter to both thank the fan base and express his disappointment.
The Wildcats fell to the Gators 28-27, marking their 31st straight setback in the series. But it came in shocking fashion, as the go-ahead touchdown, which came with just 43 seconds remaining, saw Florida receiver Freddie Swain haul in a 5-yard pass with no defender in sight.
It was a bitter pill for Barnhart to swallow, as his tweets below suggest.
Kentucky will try to bounce back Saturday, as it hosts Eastern Michigan. Kickoff at Kroger Field is set for 4:30 p.m. ET.
I am so disappointed for all of #BBN – players, coaches, fans. You poured everything into that game and I desperately wanted it for you.

The atmosphere was incredible tonight. Thank you. I can promise you that support will help fuel our team as they get back to work this week.
