Kentucky unveils incredible alternate helmets for rivalry game vs. Louisville

Kentucky is at home this afternoon for its annual matchup with Louisville.

While the rivalry between the schools might generate more national interest in basketball, it’s a heated rivalry on the gridiron as well.

Kentucky is 6-5 on the season and the Cardinals are 7-4, with both looking to end their regular seasons on a high note.

Ahead of the game, the Wildcats released images of alternate helmets that they’ll be wearing this afternoon.

And it’s a sharp look, with a chrome combination of what looks to be matte black and a royal blue logo.

Kentucky and Louisville are set for a 3 p.m. (ET) kickoff laster today. The game will be televised by the SEC Network and the Wildcats are 3.5-point favorites.
