Kewan Lacy’s status revealed for Ole Miss’s Week 4 game against Florida

Kewan Lacy will be unavailable for Ole Miss as it visits Florida in Week 4.
Lacy suffered a shoulder injury against LSU. He had nine carries for 41 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game, with an X-ray coming back negative. After being listed as questionable on the initial availability report on Wednesday and then again on Thursday, he was downgraded to doubtful on Friday.
Then, on the final availability report released 90 minutes before kickoff, Lacy was listed as out.
With Lacy unavailable, Makhi Frazier will get the call. Frazier, who transferred from Michigan State in the offseason, has just nine carries this season. He didn’t play against LSU, but isn’t on the availability report for Saturday’s game. JT Lindsey, an LSU transfer, has yet to touch the ball as a Rebel but could be in line to see some action against the Gators.
The Rebels will also be missing a trio of cornerbacks in Cedrick Beavers, Dorian Barney, and Victor Lincoln Jr. Safeties MJ Preston and Craig Tutt, linebackers Ant Davis Jr. and JaMichael Garrett, and offensive linemen Jalan Chapman and Emanuel Faulkner are also unavailable.
Kickoff from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
