Kirby Smart gives final thoughts on Jalen Milroe, how Bulldogs will address star Alabama QB

Kirby Smart has a big challenge ahead in the SEC Championship.
Georgia will be tasked with containing Alabama’s elite offense, led by an elite quarterback in Jalen Milroe. Smart has spent plenty of time preparing for Milroe, and he believes his team will be ready to adjust to whatever Alabama throws at them.
“I think you gotta do just that,” Smart told CBS Sports’ Jenny Dell. “You gotta say, ‘What can I do, what’s working well.’ We’ve got ways to change it up if it’s not working. He’s an elite athlete, so you’re always worried about his capability. You’ve got multiple ways to throw things at him, and you see what works.”
Smart knows that the SEC Championship is one of the biggest stages, but he wants his team to relax and leave everything out on the field.
“We’ve talked a lot this week about being aggressive and throwing caution to the wind, going out and relaxing,” Smart said. “I think one of the key ingredients for all players when they’ve got anxiety or nervousness, it means they’re getting ready to do something special, so we want them to give gratitude for the opportunity and go play well.”
