Georgia fans held their collective breath on Tuesday, as injury rumors swirled around star freshman quarterback Jacob Eason.

Eason was pulled from practice early due to what appeared to be a shoulder problem. Per The Telegraph, the signal-caller fully participated in Wednesday’s training session. Head coach Kirby Smart reiterated Eason will be fine, and that
“there is absolutely nothing wrong” with the Washington native.

Eason was generally regarded as the nation’s top prep quarterback in the 2016 class. He’s currently embroiled in a competition for the starting gig against the likes of Greyson Lambert and Brice Ramsey. While he doesn’t possess the experience of his fellow competitors, Eason’s stature in the pocket and immense arm strength makes him a very appealing option for Smart and his staff.
