Kirby Smart recaps lopsided win over Tennessee, Georgia’s undefeated SEC record

Kirby Smart enjoyed Georgia’s 41-17 win over Tennessee, but quickly shifted to correcting mistakes and moving on to the next challenge.
After the game, Smart met with Jamie Erdahl of CBS Sports and the Georgia media to discuss the win. He said composure was a big deal. Georgia became 8-0 in the SEC for the first time since 1982.
“I’ve seen that attribute for a long time from this team,” Smart said. “They come out to practice every day, been a joy to coach. They became very special tonight, to make it through the SEC gauntlet undefeated. We’ve got a lot of things ahead of us, but they come to work every day, and they’re just fun to coach. “We won’t celebrate long. We’ve got a lot to clean up, a lot to get ready for. But I’m proud of them, what they did hadn’t been done around here for a long time, and they’ll keep getting better, I know they’ll work.”
