Kirby Smart is asking the Georgia crowd to help the Bulldogs when they take on Ole Miss this Saturday.

“They can have a huge impact, and we need them to. I’m counting on them to,” Smart said. “We need to create problems for them on defense and make it hard for [Ole Miss] to play against us along with the crowd.”

The Bulldogs have their 2nd straight ranked matchup against an SEC opponent in Athens this Saturday. This past weekend, Georgia improved to 9-0 and 6-0 in SEC play when they took down Missouri 30-21. Junior quarterback Carson Beck was 21-for-32 passing with 254 yards and 2 touchdown’s, while junior wide receiver Ladd McConkey added 7 receptions for 95 yards.

Georgia has won 24 straight home games with their last loss in Athens coming at the hands of South Carolina back on October 12th, 2019. The Bulldogs will hope that their home field advantage will continue this Saturday.

Georgia will host the Ole Miss Rebels to Sanford Stadium this Saturday. The Rebels are coming off a 38-35 win against Texas A&M last weekend. They improved to 8-1 with that win over Texas A&M and have now won 5-straight on the season.

Georgia hosts Ole Miss on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
