Georgia football is on a special trajectory as the team is favored to win another national title just one year removed from its last one.
Head coach Kirby Smart said the past few weeks have been especially unique for the players on the squad and that there’s been no overlap in terminology and scheme on defense.
“I don’t want to minimize what our team is doing right now in terms of commitment to practice and toughness and doing things the right way. I’m really proud of them,” Smart said. “I think people take it for granted sometimes. It’s hard to do what they’ve been doing.”
Georgia’s defense has been put to the test against an array of different offenses recently and the Bulldogs have obviously handled it well as they remain undefeated.
Kirby Smart alluding to how this defense has had ZERO overlap in terminology and scheme for three straight weeks on defense.
As he says, do not overlook what this team is doing.
