Kirby Smart shoved Mississippi State quarterback Michael Van Buren as he was attempting to have a conversation with an official on Saturday.

There was no penalty called on Smart for the interaction. Georgia ultimately won 41-31, but it was a close game throughout.
Smart did not appear to realize he was shoving a Mississippi State player, but it will still be interesting to see if anything comes of this incident.
Georgia played a closer-than-expected game against Mississippi State. Carson Beck had an up-and-down performance, as he threw for 459 yards and 3 touchdowns but also tossed a couple of interceptions.
Van Buren, to his credit, had a great game against this Georgia defense. He threw for 306 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss. Van Buren is a true freshman who was a 4-star prospect in the class of 2024. He was committed to Oregon until late in the process when he ended up at Mississippi State.
Georgia will go on the road to face Texas next weekend.
