Kirby Smart weighs in on whether Georgia will wear alternate uniforms this season
Georgia football has been known to break out its alternate black uniforms from time to time, but will we see that look from the Bulldogs before the end of the 2020 season?
Kirby Smart hinted that the Dawgs may break it out in the home matchup against Mississippi State on Saturday.
“We’re not sure yet, we’ve contemplated some of that, but we’re not committed to it yet,” said Smart during media availability on Tuesday, Mike Griffith of Dawg Nation. “We want to see on a couple things from our leadership, and some of our other senior groups.”
A video surfaced on Tuesday that hinted the Dawgs may sport the look on Saturday, but nothing is confirmed.
Georgia has not worn the black jerseys since a 2016 win over Louisiana Lafayette.
