Kirk Herbstreit was on the call Monday night as the Georgia Bulldogs took down Alabama and claimed their first national title since 1980.
The Bulldogs avenged an SEC Championship Game loss in which they were carved up by Heisman-winning QB Bryce Young.
So, what did Herbstreit see the Dawgs doing differently on Monday night? During an appearance on “The Paul Finebaum Show” on Wednesday, he said the Georgia defense kept Young uncomfortable with the blitz:
"The biggest difference between the game in Atlanta and the game in Indianapolis was the way Georgia blitzed Bryce Young. It was night and day."

“The biggest difference between the game in Atlanta and the game in Indianapolis was the way Georgia blitzed Bryce Young,” he said. “It was night and day.”
The Bulldogs forced Young into 2 interceptions in Monday’s game and sacked him 4 times. That did play a huge factor in the Dawgs’ 33-18 win.
