Kirk Herbstreit, Josh Allen call into Mark Stoops’ radio show to congratulate Kentucky head coach

Kirk Herbstreit and Josh Allen made it a special Mark Stoops radio show on Monday.
Herbstreit called in to congratulate the Kentucky coach on passing Bear Bryant’s mark with his latest win.
“You have a gritty team, man,” Herbstreit said to Stoops. “Does Lexington understand what it has in Mark?”
After getting the praise from Herbstreit, Stoops got a call from a familiar voice.
Allen, a former Kentucky linebacker, called into the show to show his former coach some love.
“Josh from Jacksonville” congratulated Stoops on passing Bear Bryant’s win mark at Kentucky. In response, Stoops gave Allen credit for creating the culture that Kentucky needed.
Stoops and Kentucky defeated then-No. 12 Florida on Saturday and the Wildcats now sit at No. 7.
