Kirk Herbstreit leaves Arkansas fan gasping for life on Twitter streets

Sometimes what you consider to be thoughtful and witty social media posts don’t turn out the way you planned.
Kirk Herbstreit murdered an Arkansas fan — figuratively of course — on Sunday afternoon.
Some wise guy on Twitter, @RZRhog501, attempted to troll Herbie about the Big Ten.
“Total of 5 SEC teams playing on Monday,” he said. “How many Big Ten teams are playing?”
The longtime ESPN college football analyst had no problem ruining this man’s day with his response:
Actually looks like youre an Arkansas fan. When are they playing? Or do you just claim UGA, Bama, and Auburn as your own when your team doesn’t go to a bowl game?? That must be nice to talk trash on behalf of those teams when you’ve moved onto Basketball season for the last month https://t.co/6I6QSogI39

For what it’s worth, there is only one Big Ten team playing on New Year’s Day — Michigan takes on South Carolina in the Outback Bowl.
If only Herbie had thrown in a “Happy New Year” at the end.
RIP, @RZRhog501.
