Kirk Herbstreit voice: Fans, media share concerns during Thursday Night Football

Kirk Herbstreit may need some vocal rest after his latest appearance on Thursday Night Football.
Herbie was on the call with Al Michaels like usual on Prime Video as the LA Rams and New Orleans Saints faced off. Regardless of whatever caused him to lose his voice, the fans weighed in.
The reaction was a mixed bag depending on who you asked. Some made jokes at Herbie’s expense, while others showed genuine concern.
Herbstreit and Michaels have been calling games on Prime Video since last season after Amazon deal with Thursday Night Football. He had experience in calling NFL games before his most recent gig, calling 2 Monday Night Football games with Chris Fowler in 2020. Most fans recognize him as a longtime member of College GameDay.
Hopefully the broadcaster rests up and is in good shape for the next game he calls. Here are the some of the reactions:
