Media personality Kirk Herbstreit is known as a rather thoughtful mind as it pertains to college football musings.
It makes this recent tweet on Lane Kiffin that much more fascinating:
I believe Lane Kiffin will still end up a head coach THIS YEAR-Believe he is ready to get back to leading a program & think it will happen!

It appears as if USF is the only head coaching job Kiffin is currently involved with. There’s also validity to the though he’s the prime candidate for the LSU offensive coordinator job.
With Kiffin’s ability to stabilize his career as the offensive coordinator in Tuscaloosa, Herbstreit has apparently given him a considerable stamp of approval.
Time will tell whether Kiffin indeed gets another shot at a head coaching position.
