Just hours after the Tigers officially lost their defensive coordinator, LSU linebacker Kwon Alexander announced that he’ll forego his senior season to enter the NFL draft.
Alexander released a statement on Twitter one day after LSU fell to Notre Dame, 31-28, in the Music City Bowl.

Alexander led LSU with 90 tackles this season, including 7.5 for loss, as one of the most important and athletic players on the defense.
LSU has been hammered by early entry in the last several seasons, and other key players like DE Danielle Hunter, S Jalen Mills and CB Jalen Collins also could potentially leave for the NFL.
LSU OLB. Kwon Alexander announces he is turning pro early. Athletic, instinctive, better prospect than L. Barrow. 3rd round projection.
