It seems that the cast of ESPN’s College GameDay didn’t have much confidence in Mississippi State being able to handle Kentucky at home and defeat the Wildcats in an SEC matchup.
Broadcasting from Athens, Ga., three of the four analysts picked Mark Stoops’ team to go into Starkville and come out with the victory.
Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill noticed and took a minute to call out Kirk Herbstreit on Twitter for his wrong prediction.

Herbstreit, always a good sport, was quick to respond to Hill.

Hill did his part in the victory, rushing for 120 yards and three touchdowns as the Bulldogs dropped Kentucky 28-13, rebounding after an upset loss to Kansas State the week before. The performance by Hill didn’t come as a surprise either, as he is currently fifth in FBS in rushing, averaging 137.75 yards per game.
The test for Hill will grow tougher from here, starting with a trip to take on No. 7 Auburn and its defense, allowing just 89.50 yards per game on the ground, this Saturday.
