Kyron Jones, talented 2023 RB from Charlotte, flips from NC State to SEC program
Kyron Jones is swapping the ACC for the SEC. The talented running back from the 2023 class flipped from NC State to Georgia Wednesday afternoon.
Jones, a Charlotte, North Carolina, native, is a 3-star recruit according to 247Sports and is the No. 21 player in North Carolina.
Jones joins a loaded 2023 class for Georgia that currently sits as the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation. He joins 4-star Roderick Robinson as the only other running back in the class of 2023 for Georgia. The Bulldogs currently have 8 running backs on their roster, so the incoming players will have to battle it out for a starting spot and playing time.
The signing from Jones comes as Georgia competes for a second-straight national championship. The Bulldogs take on Ohio State in the first round of the College Football Playoff on Dec. 31.
