On Wednesday, the former Auburn safety announced that he will be heading to Ole Miss ahead of the 2022 season. Tennison spent the first 2 seasons of his college career with the Tigers.

In 2020, Tennison had 21 tackles in 11 games. This season, he appeared in 9 games and had 21 tackles, including 4.5 for a loss.
Tennison entered the NCAA transfer portal on Nov. 30. Now, he’s heading to Oxford, Miss., to play for head coach Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss, which will be getting a boost to its secondary.
The Rebels weren’t the only other SEC program with interest in Tennison, as Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch noted that Missouri had been trying to land him. However, Tennison ended up going with Ole Miss and sticking in the SEC West.
