Georgia will likely be without one of its key receivers yet again against South Carolina, but a key member of the defense will be on the field for the Bulldogs.

Junior receiver Ladd McConkey, who has not played at all this season, is doubtful to play against South Carolina, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports. McConkey was not dressed out during warmups.

However, defensive back Javon Bullard is probable to make a return, but a final decision won’t be made until after warmups. Bullard was one of the Bulldogs’ top defensive backs last season, recording 46 total tackles, 3.5 sacks and 2 interceptions. Bullard went down in Georgia’s Week 2 matchup against Ball State.

Georgia is looking to make it a 3-0 start as the Bulldogs take on South Carolina at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday. Georgia had no problems in Week 1 and Week 2, but the Gamecocks will be the first real test for the Bulldogs as they continue their quest for a third-straight national championship.
