After giving up a touchdown that cut its lead to 10-7, Georgia has responded with a 2nd touchdown in the opening quarter to push its lead to 17-7 against TCU in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

The Bulldogs’ 1st touchdown came courtesy of a Stetson Bennett 21-yard run.

The second came on a 37-yard touchdown strike from Bennett to a wide open Ladd McConkey.

McCokey already has 4 catches for 74 yards in the game, while Bennett has accounted for 132 yards, 111 of which came through the air.

The Bulldogs will take their 10-point lead to the 2nd quarter, as they look to win a 2nd consecutive national championship and complete a 15-0 season.
