Former LSU offensive tackle La’el Collins has seen his draft stock tumble over the last week. He was projected as a first-round pick leading into the draft, but now, we’re all wondering just how far he’ll fall.
Although he’s not implicated as a suspect, the mere fact that police want to chat with him about a murder case is making NFL teams very wary. You can read more about the situation here.
Now, according to his agent, if Collins isn’t drafted in the second or third round Friday night, he won’t sign a contract with any team this year. He’ll then plan to enter the 2016 NFL draft.

Of course, this could be a bluff to try and leverage teams to draft him Friday night, and Collins and his agent want teams to feel a sense of urgency.
Let’s wait and see how this plays out.
