Lane Kiffin takes heat on social media for questionable decisions in loss at Florida

Lane Kiffin is a top-tier coach. Based on what he’s built at Ole Miss, it’s undeniable.
But even great coaches have clunkers sometimes. Saturday was one of those days for Kiffin and the Rebels.
QB Jaxson Dart wasn’t great, throwing 2 bad interceptions in key situations. Kiffin’s play calls left a lot to be desired on 3rd and 4th downs. And at the end of the game, Florida earned a 24-17 victory.
Kiffin’s questionable play calls and Dart’s lackluster showing led to some major criticism of the Ole Miss head coach in the aftermath of the loss:
I remember UF fans wanting to fire Napier for Lane Kiffin and now, Napier’s team has Kififn’s on the ropes

Can’t wait to lose what ever bowl game we make @Lane_Kiffin @OleMissFB. Almost $20 million dollars spent for this garbage.

Lane kiffin lost us this game. Plain and simple.

Ole Miss/Florida ending is irrelevant.
But it’s time to have a serious conversation how Lane Kiffin is the name brand version of Lincoln Riley.

I love watching Lane Kiffin when he gets mad at his players. It’s like watching your own kid getting mad on Christmas Day when they don’t get what they want.

Per that final post, it does appear that this will end Ole Miss’s Playoff hopes. A 3-loss team that doesn’t make it to the conference championship likely won’t have a chance at sniffing the 12-team field.
Ole Miss plays Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl next weekend. That game is set for Friday, November 29, at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
