Lane Kiffin has sent a lighthearted barb Brian Kelly’s way after the LSU coach’s heated postgame press conference Sunday night.
LSU fell to USC on Sunday evening in Las Vegas. After the game, Kelly told reporters he was angry with the performance, even slamming the table.
Brian Kelly is big mad after LSU’s loss to USC.
“We’re sitting here (*slams fist*) AGAIN talking about the same things!… I’m so angry about it that I gotta do something about it! I’m not doing a good enough job as a coach… It’s ridiculous! It’s crazy!” pic.twitter.com/PzeTVlfjrT

Kiffin noticed a tweet about the Dasani water bottle on the table, and decided to share a quip related to their recent differing takes on Coca-Cola products. Dasani is a Coca-Cola product.

This all started when Kiffin candidly mused about Coke during an August press conference. His take on the soda product’s healthiness appeared to be prompted by the bottle placed at the podium due to the beverage company’s Ole Miss sponsorship.
“Does anybody drink Coke?” Kiffin asked media members, adding, “130 percent of your sugar for the entire day is in this one bottle.”
Two days later, Kelly shilled for Coca-Cola, poking fun at Kiffin without using the coach’s name.
“Just a shout out to our sponsor, Coke,” Kelly said on Aug. 21. “Smartwater, great Coke product. Minerals, vitamins, it’s just great for you. It’s refreshing, healthy. Coke provides you all the products that you need.”
On Monday, Lane Kiffin spent time ranting about the unhealthiness of Coca-Cola.
