Lane Kiffin trolls Wake Forest after 40-6 win over Demon Deacons

Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss looked dominant against Wake Forest on Saturday, taking down the Demon Deacons, 40-6.

Following the game, Kiffin praised the environment for how great it was on the Ole Miss end, even though the game was played on the road.

“The fans were great, it was a home game atmosphere,” Kiffin said.

The quote was posted to X by college football reporter Brad Logan, which Kiffin quote posted and said “Too bad we can’t play it back next year.”

Kiffin seems to be referring to Wake Forest’s cancelation of its return trip to Oxford for next season within the past week.

It’s safe to say the Demon Deacons wouldn’t like having another go-round of their most recent experience with Ole Miss, but Kiffin was understandably frustrated about the news when talking to reporters after the game on Saturday night.

Ole Miss will face Georgia Southern in Week 4.
