When was the last time each SEC team was shut out? Florida on verge of record
A lot of excitement surrounds the 2017 SEC football season, with a major reason being the possibility of so many high-powered offenses in the conference. With so many skill players coming back (12 teams return starting quarterbacks, nine 1,000-yard rushers), it’s hard to imagine any SEC team getting shut out this season.
But when was the last time each SEC team was shut out? For some, it was recent (LSU last season), while for others you must go back to the 1980s (Florida). The Gators, in fact, will pass Michigan for the all-time record (chart below) if they score in their first five games this season.
