Latest NIL impact? ACC player sits out of practice, then transfers following compensation dispute

A Florida State player is looking to play elsewhere following a compensation dispute around his name, image and likeness deal.
Florida State starting defensive back Jarvis Brownlee has entered the transfer portal after he had allegedly not been compensated for an NIL deal, even though he did not actually meet the necessary requirements for the deal, Outkick reported. Brownlee was absent from spring practice since the Seminoles began workouts.
Brownlee was a veteran for the Seminoles, and last season made 51 tackles, including 2.0 for loss, two interceptions, three pass breakups and one forced fumble. However, he was also at the center of one of the lowest moments in program history when FCS opponent Jacksonville State hit a deep pass over Brownlee Jr. and turned the long catch into a 59-yard touchdown to upset FSU 20-17 as time expired. Brownlee Jr. did take credit for his miscue when he spoke to media members the following week, Noles247 reported.
From what I have heard Brownlee did not meet the min requirement of the agreement and as such compensation has either been delayed or will not be occurring.
