In Week 2, both teams coasted, helping them stay high in the title odds in the Westgate Las Vegas Superbook. LSU waxed FCS foe Chattanooga 45-10. Alabama crushed Fresno State 41-10 in the first meeting between the schools.
They are two of the top 8 teams with the best odds to win the 2017 national title.

LSU and Alabama both have signature wins on their resume already, with the Crimson Tide beating Florida State and the Tigers defeating BYU in Week 1.
The Big 12 is tied with the SEC with two schools in the top 8, while the Big 10 has three.
